Orthogen supports the Berliner Turn- und Freizeitsport-Bund
On the fringes of the German Congress of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (DKOU) on October 22nd, 2015, in Berlin, Orthogen organised a charity soccer match together with the Bundesliga club Hertha BSC. The Above-40 team of Hertha BSC played orthopaedists and trauma surgeons in the Soccer World in Marienfelde. Of course, this event was likewise held under the motto ‘Strengthening conservative methods for avoiding surgical interventions’.
‘With this match, we want to draw attention to the Berliner Turn- und Freizeitsport-Bund e.V. (BTFB) and its important commitment in leisure and rehabilitation sports’, said Dr. Rönsch, Managing Director of ORTHOGEN Lab Services GmbH. The Akademie Ausbildung Reha-Sport of the BTFB was supported with a donation of € 1,000. The BTFB represents a large sports community, which has steadily grown in recent years to nearly 90,000 members in more than 300 clubs.
